Mr. Selva Seelan Samuel and Ms. Manochithra S, faculty members from the Department of Optometry, accompanied 17 Internship students during the industrial visit. The visit provided valuable exposure to advanced ophthalmic lens manufacturing processes, quality assurance protocols, coating technologies, and state-of-the-art optometric diagnostic instruments. It significantly enhanced the students’ practical knowledge by bridging classroom learning with real-world industrial practices and familiarizing them with the latest advancements in ophthalmic lens manufacturing and clinical optometric technologies.
