My time at Sri Ramachandra university has been truly transformative, both personally and professionally. The comprehensive respiratory therapy program not only provided me with the foundational knowledge and hands-on experience necessary to excel in my career, but also instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility and passion for patient care. The faculty’s dedication to our success was evident in every lecture, lab, and clinical rotation, offering support and guidance every step of the way. I’m grateful for the invaluable skills I acquired and the lifelong connections I made during my time here. This program prepared me to confidently step into the healthcare field, and I know it will continue to shape exceptional professionals for years to come

Reflecting on my time at Sri Ramachandra University, remains one of the most transformative period of my life. As an M.Sc Clinical Nutrition student, I was fortunate to experience an exceptional blend of academic rigor and practical application, which prepared me for the challenges of both academia and healthcare hospital. The faculty’s unwavering support and University’s cutting edge resources provided the perfect platform for my intellectual and professional development. The collaborative environment nurtured my passion of nutrition science, while diverse academic challenges honored my critical thinking and research skills. Today, as a Lecturer in the Department of Clinical Nutrition at SRFAHS, SRIHER (DU) I apply the knowledge, values and skills cultivated during my time at the Ramachandra University to inspire the next generation of Nutritionists. To the current students, embrace every learning opportunity and remember that the experiences at Sri Ramachandra University will serve as the cornerstone of your future success. The journey ahead is exciting and full of possibilities

Pursuing education in a prestigious University – Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (DU) is a dream for many. I am grateful to my parents and mentors for helping me achieve that dream. Pursuing an M.Sc. and Ph.D. is one of the immense dedications, intellectual curiosity, and perseverance. Immersed in coursework and research in the Department of Clinical Nutrition, SRIHER, it became evident that nutrition is not just a science but also a crucial component of health and wellbeing. Gaining hands-on experience during internships further solidified the passion for clinical application, especially in complex medical conditions and also helped to clear the Competitive exam -UGC NET. Embarking on the Ph.D. journey was a leap into advanced research contributing to the scientific community through publications, research, and mentoring students, combined with attending international conferences and sharing knowledge, added depth to the academic journey, which brought new challenges, demanding not only academic rigor but also a deep emotional commitment. Moreover, the Ph.D. years honed critical thinking, problem-solving, and a deeper understanding of how nutrition could improve the quality of life of the people which wouldn’t be possible anywhere other than SRIHER. The M.Sc. and Ph.D. journey wasn’t just an academic pursuit—it was a path of self-discovery, resilience, and making meaningful contributions to the field of nutrition. It has been a privilege to engage in research that could potentially transform lives, and the pursuit of knowledge continues to inspire ongoing professional growth

I am proud of becoming the first Optometrist from SRIHER to become a registered optometrist of OCANZ (Optometry council of Australia and New zealand). “SRIHER has always established high standards, which has enabled me to reach this level. “Aim Big” if you have studied at SRIHER

As an Alumni and Part-Time Research Scholar from the Department of Clinical Nutrition, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Batch of 2016 (Bachelors) and 2019 (Masters), My journey towards Nutrition was totally an unexpected and unplanned scenario. But stepping into Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (DU) as a fresher, changed my entire vision towards Nutrition and practicing a holistic lifestyle. The five years’ journey was a guiding path to evoke my passion towards teaching and research. I am proud to say that the department and the institution has given me the facilities such as clinical exposure i.e. Bedside Teachings & Objective Structured Nutrition Examination (OSNE), Food Product Development, Research Expertise and infrastructures which has helped me to withstand in my almamater in the position of lecturer after being qualified in NET. Our Faculties have been determined to foster the responsibility, curiosity and courage to go beyond our capability. The problem based learning and bedside teachings which has been practiced here has helped me to groom myself towards a practical teaching expertise
