Curriculum Highlights:
- Assisting preoperative assessment
- Preparing operation theatre according to the surgery
- Preparation and assisting for intravenous cannulation, arterial cannulation and central venous cannulation
- Handling mask ventilation and intubation and management of airway
- Preparing and Assisting spinal anaesthesia, epidural anaesthesia and nerve blocks
- Handling anaesthesia outside operating theatre (MRI, CT, ECT, ERCP, endoscopy, colonoscopy, dilatation, bronchoscope)
- Handling anaesthesia machine, ventilators (invasive and non-invasive) and monitors
- Assisting the anaesthesiologist in all area of practice including pharmacological therapy, fluid balance and blood therapy
- Assisting mechanical ventilator care support and patient care in ICU and Post anaesthesia care unit
