The department has two major divisions – division of Basic sciences and division of Humanities. The division of Basic sciences strengthens the foundational disciplines of Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Pharmacology while the Division of Humanities enhances both technical expertise and humanistic skills through diverse disciplines such as Languages, Sociology, Physics, Statistics and Yoga. This integration of various fields, delivered by highly skilled and experienced faculty members equips learners with essential skills and knowledge, enabling them to excel in their core disciplines while promoting a comprehensive growth.
The department provides clinical and practical training through hands-on laboratory and skills lab exposure to up-skill students.
