Division of Humanities 

  • The division of Humanities offers teaching  of  languages (English & Japanese),   Sociology,  Physics and Yoga  both as core and elective courses.
  • Statistics as a fundamental tool for research and innovation is also imparted to the students.

Division of Basic Sciences

The Division of Basic Sciences provides foundational education in Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Pharmacology through an integrative approach to understand homeostasis, organ systems, and diseases.

Anatomy

  • The core courses on Anatomy provide students with understanding of human anatomy with focus on its relevance to understand disease association.

Physiology

  • The core courses on Physiology help learners to understand the functions of cells, tissues, and organs into a cohesive whole.
  • It highlights the beauty of homeostasis and reveals how its disruption leads to disease, emphasizing the interconnections essential for life.

Biochemistry

  • The learning of Biochemistry provides comprehensive and contemporary education to students with an understanding of the chemical processes and molecular mechanisms essential for life.
  • It emphasizes the role of bio-molecules and aids in assessing risk factors for the development of multi-factorial diseases.

Microbiology

  • The core courses on Microbiology provide comprehensive knowledge on the role of microorganisms in health and disease with a focus on antimicrobial resistance and infection prevention and control.
  • It also offers hands-on experience with conventional, automated and advanced molecular techniques for the diagnosis of infectious diseases.

Pharmacology
