Forensic science plays a significant role in the Criminal Justice System. The program deals with
applying scientific knowledge in investigation of crimes.
A multi-disciplinary approach is used with Natural Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Computer Science, to help the graduates assist in the law enforcing authorities in analysis of evidence collected from crime scenes. The students are given deep understanding of scientific principles, methods and ethical practices so that they can contribute to the advancement of forensic science through research, innovation, and real-world applications.
