The Department of Medical Laboratory Technology focuses on training competent Laboratory professionals equipped with the knowledge and technical skills required for accurate disease diagnosis and patient care support. Medical Laboratory Technologists play a vital role in modern healthcare by performing critical diagnostic tests on blood, body fluids, tissues and other specimens using advanced laboratory equipment and methodologies.
The department lays a strong foundation related to diagnostic tests in clinical Biochemistry, Hematology & clinical Pathology, Histopathology& Cytopathology, Microbiology and Immunohematology & transfusion medicine. Students receive rigorous hands – on training and are exposed to real- world diagnostic settings through structured clinical postings.
